Heavy Knitting Action and Wasted Squirrels

I am a great fan of yarn bombing and knit blasting. I made that last one up but it sounds great, huh?

The tree piece appeared a month ago on Rupert Street and might still be there. I discovered another conceptual art piece off Whiteladie's Road. A great comment about the dangers of modern life..

A pro-tip at the end:

8 Months Later..

..and I finally got one of these iPhones. Now I can order a takeaway while taking a picture of a badly dressed person.

I also bought a bike that I christened Piccoli Bastardo.

It's so small that I don't even have a big picture of it. I hope that history is not repeating itself..

Hey Ho Let's Go Bristol Street Style Fashion Blog Thingy!!!

Ok.. I've been lazy. It was cold outside. I was on holiday. Always when I saw some well dressed object, I didn't carry a camera. I will buy an iPhone next week so I don't need to carry a camera all the time. Yadayadayadayada..

Here's the plan:

1. Get iPhone

2. Hand-print business cards that read "Hi! I like your style. If you'd like your photo taken and appear on a Street Style Blog, please drop me a mail so we can meet up again and I can take a photo of you in/with your favorite outfit/thing/art/costume/whatever."

3. Walk around town and hand out business cards to people that I think look special.

4. Update the blog once a week.

That should do. Here's some stuff that I liked in the last 2 months:

PS: If you are actually one of the 20 people who read this blog and you are from Bristol and would like to be photographed in your favorite frock, just drop me a mail >> supaswag [@] gmail.com

Street Style Bristol: Paulo Update! The Creative Paranoiac

Today in his own words, I give you Paulo [who reminds me more & more of Kevin Rowland!]

creative paranoiac

why do i dress up like this?
well maby it springs from my creativity and my deep interest in art....i am an "artist"

for what ever that stands for and might mean
....that's what i have aspired to be and now i can say that i have become quite comfortable with that...

... also it springs somehow from paranoia and how i deal with my public persona.. which i'm sorry to say and hate to admit to it , to mutch on my mind that ocupies my mind..
but perhaps that's the way we as a society and race have become ... we think to much of how others see yourself,,, some kind of twisted reflection..
...or is just pure creativity ?
...is that it?... creativity ?
....yes for me if i was to choose one word to descibe why i do it, it would be just that it would be creativity !!!!!
   creativity
creativity
contrast and conposition of colour and shapes....

...is it words??
.. is it because of what i derive fom the meaning of words and what they signify to me..

so is it paranoia or creativity??
yes its paranoia of my creativity
yeah that's it.. paranoid creativity,,,,

Street Style Bristol: Shitty breakfast & a walk in the park

No, we're walking!

This is my favorite bridge. It has hand-knitted rails.

And leads to some integral knowledge, written on a wall.

I'd also like to add: Fuck The Boston Tea Party cafe on Park Street for serving up the worst breakfast I had this year. What a soulless plate of badly prepared produce.

Where is the rest of that animal? Maybe in The Boston Tea Party's Park Street kitchen.

Sharmila in red with swallow

Bloody paparazzi!

Bristol Home Style: Courtney Love

Clearly, the person who designed this has never ever seen a guitar before. Or Courtney Love.
